BRIEF RESUME
Performance Coach/Trainer/Speaker
I am a Certified Performance Coach, and an International speaker/trainer. I am also a qualitative researcher, English Language Teacher trainer, and an author. I have written a book 'Qualitative Research: Data Collection and Data Analysia' and another on Process Writing with other scholars from Malaysia.
Among the trainings I have conducted in Malaysia, UAE, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Thailand and Australia are on personal growth, network marketing, weight loss, meditation and healthy living (mind-body-spirit approach). Other trainings are in qualitative research, resume writing, academic writing, and study habits.
I have also produced meditation CDs in 'Bahasa Malaysia'. As a Reiki Master, I also conduct workshops in Reiki I, II and Reiki Mastership with Geoffrey Favoloro, a Psychologist/Reiki Master . Geoff has produced a wide range of meditation CDs (www.happinesscentre.com) which we use in our workshops.

Consultant- Teaching and Learning of English as a second Language/EAP
I was an academic for 23 years at a public university in Malaysia (UUM). In 2003, I was appointed as Associate Prof. of Applied Linguistics by Universiti Utara Malaysia. While working for the university, I held these positions: Deputy Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) of the Faculty of Communication and Modern Languages, Coordinator of postgraduate Applied Linguistics Programs (M.A. and Ph.D.), Coordinator and lecturer of several English language courses for postgraduate and undergraduate students.
I have also presented numerous academic research papers on the Teaching and Learning of English at international conferences. I have taught EAP/ESL for undergraduates at RMIT university and Trinity College, Melbourne University Foundation Programmes.
